Sunrise

Sunrise just before 6am, winter is on its way in, wish I had the money to now fly to the southern hemisphere and get to enjoy the spring and summer.

Sunrise

Today I saw a nice and interesting sunrise, it makes me just a little sad as it means winter must be on its way as it was only 7ish when I saw the sunrise.

It was interesting sunrise with some light clumpy clouds which all light up in some interesting ways, the colours and hues of the clouds changed as the sun rose, I must admit that I sat looking out of the window for a good 10 minutes or so

Books reading

I have completed the Charles Stross book Iron sunrise, and like I said in an earlier blog the book bounces around in viewpoint and time.

You know what it works!

On completing the story it is the only way the story could have been told and for it to work the way that it does.

Well worth the money and the time a great little story.

Reading Pt 3

Iron Sunrise is going well so far not to sure about the several viewpoints and the switching between them and also going backwards and forwards in time but apart from that the story is good and I believe that the author Charles Stross is proving good entertainment and value for money.

I am at one level glad that it is not his first book that I have read of his, as I don't think so far that it shows just what he can and does do.

As a side note to the above the first book of Charles's that I read is one that he has released into the creative commons and that was called Accelerado, if you ever get chance to read do so it will really stretch your mind, it did mine.
