New Tacks

 New Tracks

so good news by the time that I put this post up, I shall have posted 3 new tracks on my youtube channel, which will be the first lot of tracks in some time, i think without checking that it could be 3 or more weeks.

The reason for the delay has been caused by me and the wife being ill with some virus, which was not Covid as we tested and that was negative.

So these tracks were written some time ago, bur for one reason or another were not finished, the good news is that they are done!

The even more good news is that I also had time to complete several more tracks, but so as not to overload the channel I shall arrange for them to be released in the next couple of weeks.

The 3 new tracks are all different music styles and track length but are all good tracks and I have enjoyed hearing them again.

YouTube Thumbnails

Thumbnails and Me

So as you know if you have read any of my blog posts here over the last year or to I compose music which I then put on my YouTube page/Channel.

I don't post to the channel at a regular time and I don't advertise it, mainly cause I don't know how to and also because other things in my life get in the way.

One thing that I have not done is a thumbnail for each of the tracks that I have uploaded.

There are a lot of tracks, so that is a lot of thumbnails.

So I have recently found a free programme that has helped me to make thumbnails.

I read reviews on the software with there being a lot of negative reviews of it, saying things like its very slow etc..

I have not found that to be a problem.

So I have been playing with the free parts of the program and have managed to produce some thumbnails for some of my many tracks on Youtube.

The artwork will not win any awards, but I don't care about that as all I wanted was for my tracks to have a thumbnail that is not a plain boring background, this somehow I have managed.

So I have done perhaps ten thumbnails so far, the amount of time that it has taken is a real surprise.

Oh you want to know what the free software that I have been using on my PC?

Its by Adobe and is called Adobe Express, I have not yet looked at how much the paid for part is and what it will give my that will make it worth me spending some money on it.

Fog EP Released

Fog EP

So the Fog EP has been released today and you can hear all the tracks on it at my youtube page. The current EP has three tracks on it with one of the called Fog.

I do have ideas to do a EP+ with some more tracks but I have not yet created them, if I do I will post the update here.

One thing that I have noticed was when I used to publish a track on Youtube it used to update this Blog, with ta link to the track but that does not seem to be the case anymore, sad times.

My 360 challenge

Well my 360 challenge of producing and uploading to YouTube a music track each day appears to be going well in that so far I have released a track each day.

Music Videos

So my plan this year is really a 365 day challenges, others have done take a picture every day. So what I am trying to do is release a music track each day.

I know its a lot of music and a lot of tracks, the plan so far is going well I think in that I think on average so far this year I have released a track on YouTube each day. when I have not had access to the internet I have uploaded more than one track when I do have access again.

So far I am ahead on tracks written but not posted, whether I can keep up will be interesting.
