Song Summertime in UK

Summertime

Verse 1:

It's summertime in the UK

The sun is shining bright

The days are long and warm

The nights are short and light

We're ready for some fun

We've waited for so long

It's time to hit the road

And sing our summer song

Chorus:

Summertime, summertime

We're feeling fine in summertime

We're going places, we're seeing faces

We're living life in summertime

Verse 2:

It's summertime in the UK

The weather is so nice

We're heading to the beach

Or maybe to the ice cream shop

We're enjoying every moment

We're making memories

It's the best time of the year

There's so much to see and do

Chorus:

Summertime, summertime

We're feeling fine in summertime

We're going places, we're seeing faces

We're living life in summertime

Bridge:

Summertime is here at last (here at last)

Let's make it last as long as we can (as long as we can)

Summertime is what we need (what we need)

Let's celebrate with all our friends (all our friends)

Chorus:

Summertime, summertime

We're feeling fine in summertime (feeling fine)

We're going places, we're seeing faces (going places)

We're living life in summertime (living life)

Outro:

Summertime, summertime........

Rain

Why is it so wet this July, I was in June just getting used to it being hot and bright and well you know what I mean, now less than a month later I have a fleece on as its not that warm and I am getting really **off that I can't sit out under a blue sky and read a good book.

Rant over.
