Well hello and welcome to another blog entry today is Monday and I think it's that On day and I think it's 10 October 2016 and it's about what time is it what is about a possible which is quite good and that today has been sunny with some cloud it is warm.
It is warm and the big news for this blog entry as it's a notebook to myself is that I have just given my 137 pint blood and I think I should be proud of myself for donating so much blood and over so many years, it's over 20 years.
I think I've been given blood four times a year I have O negative blood which as you know is universal donor, so if you're in an accident and they don't know your blood type, they can give you O negative blood straightaway which could make the difference between you being dead or alive so in the United Kingdom they need 6000 pintsa day.
They need 6000 blood donors a day to keep up with demand and in the UK ,you do not get paid for for donating blood it is given freely and collected freely so there you go my 137th unit of blood.
