So I wrote the other day that I did not use my blog for doing written posts, that I mainly use it for give you a link to a new piece of music that i had produced and put up on the web.
While reading some other posts I noticed that other folks are also starting to notice that the written blog does appear to be on the wane, and that some blogs that people used to follow have become silent and that more and more of them are appearing to do so.
Maybe people followed the trend back in the day and as every one seemed to be getting a blog they got one to.
I must admit that sometimes it's hard to make posts because you don't have anything to say or what you want to say you have said already and probably have said many times before.
So I wonder what is different about the blogs that are old but are still going?
What do the post about?
I don't know the answer, but I could guess that one of the things a long lasting blog needs is a community and also regularity without those two things it will end as another blog that will fall silent.
I am pleased that I have managed to keep this blog going even if it's not a full text blog or a blog with lots of pictures.
I suppose in time Google will in the background archive all the silent blogs so what was written and said is not lost.
