iPad lighting connector

Ipad Connector

So I have an iPad , which I have had for a few years now, I mainly use it for reading and composing music.

Unfortunately the music generation program is only available on IOS or windows otherwise I would by a android tablet as they are cheaper than iPads, which are nice but I think are over priced.

The only thing wrong with my iPad is the stupid lightning connector port, it really is not a very robust design, and I am now having trouble getting it to charge.

So look to get a new iPad, the problem is I need a large memory iPad 128mb or bigger due to the music files that I create.

For some reason Apple in their (Lets make lots of money) charge rather a lot of money for an Ipad with more than 128Gb of memory, I was under the impression that memory was now cheap to produce.

Song Lyrics Green Fields of England V2

Green Fields of England Version 2

Verse 1:

I've travelled the world and seen many wonders

But nothing delights me like the green fields of England

Where the sun smiles bright and the birds sing cheerful

And the air is pure and sweet

Chorus:

Oh, the green fields of England

How they fill my heart with joy in the summer

When the flowers dance and the grass is soft

And the sky is clear and bright

Oh, the green fields of England

How I wish I could be there in the summer

With my guitar in my hand and my love in my arms

And nothing to worry about

Verse 2:

I've sung many songs and met many people

But nothing inspires me like the green fields of England

Where the music soars and the stories unfold

And the history is alive

Chorus:

Oh, the green fields of England

How they lift my spirit up in the summer

When the melodies soar and the words are true

And the spirit is free and high

Oh, the green fields of England

How I want to share them in the summer

With my friends and my fans and my family too

And everyone who cares for me

Bridge:

Some may call me a dreamer or a wanderer

But I know where I belong and where I want to go

It's to the green fields of England

Where I feel at home and where I'm happy

Chorus:

Oh, the green fields of England

How they warm my soul in the summer

When the breeze is gentle and the warmth is kind

And the peace is deep and real

Oh, the green fields of England

How I hope to return there in the summer

Where my heart is full and my soul is calm

And my love is strong and real

Outro:

Oh, the green fields of England

Oh, the green fields of England

Oh, the green fields of England

Oh, the green fields of England

So this is version two of my Green Fields of England song,

I have rewritten it for a female voice and tried to make it easier to sing,

I don't know if that is something that I have managed to achieve here.

3008 Blog Posts

 3008 Blog Posts

So a few blog posts back, I was able to say that this blog had finally hit 3000 posts, which to me is still rather amazing that I have managed to keep this blog going and that Blogger has not yet been shut down by Google as they do appear to have history in shutting down services that they have brought.

Perhaps blogger is of use to them, I did try to find out just how busy Blogger is, but I was not very good in getting any answers.

Anyway I did not want to talk about Blogger I wanted to talk about the fact that this blog had had 3000 blog posts, I know that there will be other blogs with far more posts than mine, there will also be some with far longer posts, and you know what?

I don’t care, as the title of this blog states this is a notebook so I am doing posts that are for me in a public place, as I know that sometimes a web crawler makes an error and finds my blog.

Luckily this does not happen very often so I really don’t worry about it.

I shall continue to use this blog as a way of saving the odd random though, or to post about some of my creative efforts, because it’s easy on here to find such things, and I also like the idea that I can have another look at what I was doing or maybe even have another go at something I did before.

Song lyrics Skyline London French Version 2

Skyline London French Version 2

Verse 1:

London’s skyline has changed so much over time From old St. Paul’s to the Shard and the Eye Buildings come and go as the years pass by And so do the people with their dreams and cries

Chorus:

Le ciel de Londres est brillant Il nous raconte le passé et l’avenir Le ciel de Londres est unique Il me rend fière et humble à la fois

Verse 2:

London’s skyline shines bright in the night With neon signs and stars in the sky London’s skyline mirrors the Thames With bridges and boats and the moon on high

Chorus:

Verse 4:

London’s skyline stands strong through the storms And the rainbows and sunsets that follow them London’s skyline inspires many hearts And the songs and poems that honour them

Chorus:

Le ciel de Londres est brillant Il nous raconte le passé et l’avenir Le ciel de Londres est unique Il me rend fière et humble à la fois

Verse 5:

I love the views of London from every angle From the hills and the parks to the roofs and the streets I love the views of London in every moment From the dawn and the dusk to the noon and the night

Chorus:

Le ciel de Londres est brillant Il nous raconte le passé et l’avenir Le ciel de Londres est unique Il me rend fière et humble à la fois

Outro:

Le ciel de Londres est bril-lant Il nous ra-conte le pas-sé et l’a-ve-nir Le ciel de Londres est u-ni-que Il me rend fiè-re et hum-ble à la fois Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh

This is my version two of a previous song of mine that I have posted on this Blog

what do you think of it?

is this better a better version compared to the earlier one?

Is it more singable? is that even a word ?

Does the French bit even work?

Should I even have a French section?

I really don't know the answer to these questions, but it is fun to ask them.

I sadly have had the idea of a version three of this song as there are some changes that I want to make.

Blog Stats

Blog Stats

So for some reason I decided to look at the blog stats of this blog, this is normally a complete waste of time as normally this blog sits at one or possibly two views a day.

The main reason for this being that I don't post very regularly and I just don't prepote the site, as its a notebook of odd thoughts for me.

so you can imagine my surprise e to see that somehow this blog has had in the last few day 173 views!

I don't know what has been the cause of this sudden increase, but thats is what has happened.

When I looked into the stats that I have available to me, which is not many, I found to my surprise that 16 times a site in France has looked at the site in seven fays, why?

This site is in a poor form of English, there is I must state here, two songs that are partly in French surely that cant be the reason for the sudden interest in this site?

Most of what I talk about here will be nower days about either my si=ong writing or my music tracks.

Back in the day it would have been about what new part of the website I was doing or even what book I was reading and sometimes I would also talk about that most English of things the Weather!

So I don't have a clue why French web crawlers or actual people are interested in my site.

Song Lyrics Grand Piano

 Grand Piano

There are 88 keys on a grand piano

But you don’t need to play them all to make a show

Just pick a few that sound good together

And you can sing along with any weather

C, D, E, F, G, A, B

These are the notes of the C major scale

They are easy to remember and fun to play

But don’t forget the sharps and flats along the way

C sharp, D sharp, F sharp, G sharp, A sharp

These are the black keys that make things interesting

They can change the mood of any song

But be careful not to hit them wrong

B flat, E flat, A flat, D flat, G flat

These are the other black keys that have different names

They are also called enharmonic equivalents

But that’s a fancy term that makes no sense

So don’t worry about the theory or the rules

Just play the piano with your heart and soul

And if you make a mistake, just laugh it off

Because music is a joy that we can all share

But wait, there’s more to the grand piano

There are also three foot pedals that you can use

They can make your sound softer, louder, or smoother

But you need to know when and how to use them

The left pedal is called the una corda

It shifts the hammers to strike fewer strings

It makes your sound softer and more gentle

But it also changes the tone and tuning

The middle pedal is called the sostenuto

It sustains only the notes that you hold down

It lets you create contrast and harmony

But it also requires more skill and control

The right pedal is called the damper

It lifts all the dampers from the strings

It makes your sound louder and richer

But it also creates more resonance and ringing

So now you know more about the grand piano

And how to use the keys and the pedals

You can experiment and have fun with them

But remember to practice and learn from them.

Not sure if this is a song that is even possible to be sung, don't know if it would suit a male or a female voice.

I am Blank

This is a blank page that it just looking at me

Its daring me to have something to say

Unfortunately I don't have anything to say....

So it goes

This Test of my phone

This is a test to see if i can use my phone to do blog entries, it appears that it does work which is great.

Whether I will write more blog posts is open to debate, as just lately I have not been into doing the blog, I have done a lot of song writting, whether the sons are any good is for someone else to tell me, I am just happy that I have been creative and produced something new, that did not exist in the world.

It would be great if someone else saw my work, but I get a buzz from the creation of something new.

I am staring to think that more of my blog is read by an AI crawler that actual human beings..... so I should expect to get any feedback some time soon.

Running

So guess who has signed up for a half marathon in January?

Yes me !

So I have run a half marathons before, several times so far, but I have not run one in a very long time.

I will also admit that my running fitness is not as good as it could be, the longest distance I have run in the last few months is only 16km, a half marathon is 21.9km so I am not going to find running the distance easy.

I am going to try this week so see if I can run the distance, just so see if I can.

My plan is just to run it on the day as four parkruns

Song lyrics Summer Running

Summer Running

Verse 1:

I wake up early in the morning

Feeling fresh and ready to go

I put on my running shoes and head out the door

The sun is rising in the sky

Painting the clouds with golden light

I breathe in the crisp and cool air

And feel alive

Chorus:

Running in the countryside

Feeling free and feeling fine

There's nothing like this feeling

Running in the countryside

With the birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees

There's beauty all around me

Verse 2:

I run along the winding paths

Through the fields and the woods

I see the sheep and the cows and the horses

Grazing peacefully

I hear the sound of the river

Flowing gently by my side

I smile and wave at the friendly folks

Who greet me as I pass by

Chorus:

Running in the countryside

Feeling free and feeling fine

There's nothing like this feeling

Running in the countryside

With the birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees

There's beauty all around me

Bridge:

Sometimes I stop and take a break

To enjoy the view and appreciate

The simple things in life that make me happy

I thank the universe for this day

For this chance to run and play

In this amazing place that I call home

Chorus:

Running in the countryside

Feeling free and feeling fine

There's nothing like this feeling

Running in the countryside

With the birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees

There's beauty all around me

Songs never will never be

 Songs that will never be

So seems that at the moment I am writing lots of songs, and having fun doing it.

I suspect, that I will never hear any of them sung by someone with talent, which is sad as I would love to hear how they interpet the lyrics of the song and what melody should or could go with the lyrics.

Perhaps I will have to wait for an affordable AI that can sing the song to me.

Song lyrics Parkrun

 Parkrun

It's Saturday morning and I'm feeling good

I've got my trainers on and I'm in the mood

To run a parkrun with my friends and family

It's not a race, it's just a fun activity

Parkrun, parkrun, you keep me healthy

Parkrun, parkrun, you're so inclusive

Parkrun, parkrun, you're my favourite

They make me smile and help me to be strong

I just enjoy the challenge and the mission

Parkrun, parkrun, you make me happy

Parkrun, parkrun, you keep me healthy

Parkrun, parkrun, you're so inclusive

Parkrun, parkrun, you're my favourite

I always look forward to seeing your face

Parkrun, parkrun, you make me happy

Parkrun, parkrun, you keep me healthy

Parkrun, parkrun, you're so inclusive

Parkrun, parkrun, you're my favourite
