Moon Sonnet
The Moon is a silent witness of the night, That casts its gentle glow upon the earth And fills the sky with silver beams of light That make us wonder at its beauty and worth
The Moon is also a faithful lover’s friend, That keeps them company when they are apart And helps them feel each other’s presence and send Their tender thoughts and wishes from their heart
The Moon is a mysterious orb of power, That influences the tides and seasons too And sometimes changes shape or hides or glows brighter And makes us marvel at what it can do
The Moon is a sonnet that we all can read That speaks of love and wonder and mystery.
