Travel
Just been reading a blog where the guy is a service engineer for a company in the states and from my very poor knowledge of the USA seems to have to travel 1000 miles or so to do a service visit, I hate to imagine how many miles he has flown and just how many different hotels he has had to put up with in his travels.
His time with his family must also be in very short supply, how does anyone cope with that sort of life?
I am sure that I would not be able to cope with what he does.
I suppose in a way because the UK is not the States that you just can not compare his way of working with what happens in the UK.
For one thing the UK is much smaller, fly a thousands mules here and two ways you fly you end up over water the other two over land that is not the UK!
So I am in a way glad I am where I am, but it's also interesting just to see how other people live their lives and just how different it is to mine.
